First, I would like to thank you for visiting my site and hope you enjoy it and visit often. I was born on January 7, 1980 but my love for natural places did not occur until my first visit to a National Park in 1994 which was Bryce Canyon National Park. Since then, I have traveled to over 60 National Parks and Monuments throughout the country and have done my best in capturing each of them through my photographs. Currently, I am a physician in the United States Navy. I initially started taking pictures with an automatic camera and many of these photos were taken with that camera. Currently, I use a Canon 40D and have an assortment of Sigma lenses. Photography has become one of my favorite hobbies and along with hiking, has become an important part of my visits to National Parks and Monuments. My favorite photographer is David Muench. He produces beautiful photographs and I encourage you to visit his website which can be located in my links page. I generally go on "National Park" trips once to twice a year and will update my site accordingly when I have new photographs to share. I usually update my site once every few months. More recently, I have started to go beyond natural beauty and have started shooting cities and skylines. My favorite National Park and one I obviously recommend one visiting is Katmai National Park in Alaska. I was not only amazed at it's abundant wildlife which included the Alaskan Brown Bear (which feeds on salmon during summer months), but was taken away by it's scenic beauty as well. My hope is that some of my photographs will be published in magazines, newspapers, websites etc... in the future.
